Event Schedule
9th of July 2024
On the first day of our film festival all selected films can be watched on our website online, whenever you want, until the 15th of July 2024.
Additional content, like interviews with production teams, directors and actors, dedicated to the timeframe category “PREHISTORY – ANTIQUITY”, will be made available on this day.
10th of July 2024
On day two of our online film festival, additional content like interviews with production teams and directors, dedicated to the timeframe category “MIGRATION PERIOD – MIDDLE AGES”, will be made available.
11th of July 2024
On day 3 of our online film festival you can watch additional content like interviews with production teams and directors dedicated to the timeframe category “MODERN ERA / COLONIALISM”.
12th of July 2024
On day 4 of our online film festival you will be able to have access to additional content like interviews with production teams and directors dedicated to the timeframe category “GREAT WAR -CONTEMPORARY HISTORY“.
13th of July 2024
On the fifth day of our festival we will show the films of the four main awards (“best film” of each timeframe category) as well as a potpourri of the selected films on our onsite event in the historic setting of an open air museum, give brief introductions to the projects and provide a personal platform to interact with those of the filmmakers who decide to attend and the audience.
Furthermore the winners of all prizes will be declared and awarded in front of the attending audience.
14th to 15th of July 2024
During the final two days of our film festival all selected entries will be available to watch alongside all awarded winners.
ON-SITE EVENT – 13th of July 2023

To register for our onsite event in the open air museum with live screenings and the award ceremony please use the same e-mail address as for the online version, but please just mention additionally that you would also like to come to our onsite event in the open air museum to guarantee you a seating possibility at the main screen.
If a seating possibility is not so important for you, you can also come spontaneously to the onsite event in the open air museum “MAMUZ Schloss Asparn/Zaya” (starting at 3 pm) without registration.
