Director Biography – Roman Synchuk
Director of documentary and narrative films, film editor, and cinematographer. Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv National University graduate.
2010–2015—director in the announcements department for the TNT.
2015–2019—director and film editor at the Dovzhenko Film Studio.
Since February 2022— independent documentarian accredited by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Worked with AP and PBS on 2 documentaries on war crimes. Works with the Ukrainian War Archive. He is directing a film about civilian executions in Hostomel.
