“The german with the photography shop” tells the unknown story of the german photographer Leo Frischer who, fleeing Nazi persecution in his country for being jewish, found refuge in a small town on the island of Mallorca in Spain.

Director Biography – Luis Pérez Bordoy

Luis Pérez Bordoy is a Senior Technician in Audiovisual Production and Shows, and has a degree in Digital Editing and Postproduction from the Center for Photographic Studies of Palma (CEF).

He has been the editor of the documentaries “The Most Dangerous Man in Europe: Otto Skorzeny in Spain” (Netflix, 2020), “The Chair and the General: A Story Between Cuba and Mallorca” (2019), “Bayo and Che: Guerrilla and Chess in Cuba” (2018), and “Bones That Speak: The Grave of the Three Mariandos” (2017). He has been involved in the editing and production of various documentaries and programs for IB3 and RTVE, such as “Reporters,” “Islands in Transition,” and “Aixoplucs.”
